The NYOS Quantum EQ Upgrade Kit converts an existing compatible NYOS Quantum protein skimmer to electronic EQ operation, without requiring replacement of the complete skimmer body.

Model-specific kits are offered for Quantum 160, 220 and 300 skimmers. The upgrade includes a controllable 24 V pump, electronic controller, power supply, LED components and bubble plate. Once installed, the updated skimmer offers wireless adjustment through compatible Mobius or Apex Fusion software.

Features include variable pump output between 1 and 100%, adjustable schedules and different operating programmes for reef maintenance. Enhanced efficiency and protective functions include an automatic pump shut-off if the system is obstructed, visual operating feedback and notifications through a supported app. The lighting can also be used during servicing.
