The NYOS Quantum EQ range adds intelligent electronic control to NYOS protein skimming technology for marine aquariums. It is designed for efficient nutrient removal, adjustable performance and convenient monitoring through compatible aquarium control software.

The Quantum EQ features a controllable 24 V pump with adjustable output from 1 to 100%, wireless integration with the Mobius and Apex Fusion platforms, and preset operating modes for different reef-keeping needs. These include higher-performance operation, reduced skimming to preserve plankton and nutrient-focused settings. The pump system is designed to use less energy than earlier Quantum models.

Protection and service features include a shut-off function for obstructions, visual status lighting and notifications through supported app connections. The integrated light also assists with cabinet maintenance.

Choose the Quantum 160 EQ for aquariums up to approximately 1,000 L, the 220 EQ for systems up to 2,000 L or the 300 EQ for larger installations up to 4,000 L. Compatible upgrade kits are also available for existing Quantum 160, 220 and 300 skimmers. The listed entry price relates to the 160 EQ.
